Awareness Trumps Perspective!

When we are unaware that we have a two part egotistical mind, we can tend to believe our perspectives are of utmost importance. However, when we realize that one part of our mind is conditioned with a victim/people pleaser mentality, and the other part is conditioned to be the angry little sabotager, we can separated from them, live in awareness of what they are thinking and feeling, then make decisions from a place of love and unity rather than divisiveness and separation.

What this looks like in real time, is while being with people, we are listening to what they are saying, while we are also watching the reaction of the victim/sabotager. If they are quiet we can respond in a loving manner. If they start having an attitude, feeling angry, anxious or triggered etc. we then take control by noticing the feelings and say, “we are going to learn from this situation rather than get pissed off!” Because every situation contains a lesson of love and to reveal blockages of love.

The next step is to share a positive statement, so as to stay calm and in control, along with abstaining from causing the other person to feel attacked. Then it’s time to express why the ego is getting pissed off, using “I feel” statements and finally discussing how we can learn from this situation for future interactions.

Awareness is the key to peace because, when we identify with the egotistical mind: Victim/Sabotager as our mind, we are controlled and imprisoned by it. The truth that we are the awareness of them, is the truth that sets us free. The egotistical mind never really goes away, however as it’s healed of it’s conditioning caused by trauma and is controlled by the awareness/Christ consciousness, it quiets down! This is when we step into the peace that passes all understanding, due to the fact we are finally in control of our mind.
