There’s a path to freedom that most don’t know exists. It’s called The Awakening Path. In order to even know about the path, the person must come with an open heart and mind, that is seeking for a better way. To enter The Awakening Path, the person is given The Key of Awareness. This is awareness that they are a very powerful Divine Being and that they have made a two part Egotistical Programmed Mind: The Fearful Victim/Angry Protector, from their past experiences. Everyone needs this Key of Awareness because we are completely unaware that we all have 3 personalities or mindsets we are dealing with all the time: Our True Self, Fearful Victim and Angry Protector. If you pay attention to yourself, you’ll notice the shifting in and out of these mindsets.
Our True Self feels: calm, confident, peaceful, kind, joyful, positive etc. Then we shift into the Fearful Victim and we feel sad, shame, guilt, regret, depressed, doubt, worry, disappointed, negative, discouraged etc. Then we shift into the Angry Protector and we feel: frustration, bitterness, un-forgiveness, resentment etc. The problem is, we think all of these are our True Self and so we accept it and really do nothing about it, other maybe we allow the ego to use coping mechanisms to ease our pain. Many try therapy which really just focuses on counseling the ego, rather than knowing how it was created and dissolving it with the truth of their True Identity.
Even though many receive The Key of Awareness, they often take the key and walk away, knowing that the next key is The Key of Acceptance. This key is not for the faint of heart. In fact those who accept this key are what I call Badass! This is where the inner work is done. It’s hard and painful, because they will be unpacking the pain that the ego has repressed for decades. It will also require of them to forgive, practice self control and self discipline so that they no longer give into the Egotistical Programmed Mind. Some call this part of the journey: The Dark Night of The Soul.
The good news is that: as the mind is healing, the ego is dissolving and their True Self emerges. It’s the self that they’ve only had glimpses of during their life. They come to realize what a perfectly beautiful, powerful, Being they are! Now they receive The Key of Actualization, knowing their uniquely – powerful True Self, causes them to realize their purpose that creates their passion and they begin to align everything in their life with their new found identity.
On the other side of the Darkness, is an incredible, supernatural reality beyond the body-mind where miracles are normal. It’s just as Jesus said: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it.
