The path to Awakening and Enlightenment is a highly individualized journey. Even though there are thousands of Spiritual Teachers and ways to awaken, one thing is for sure, we all have to deconstruct our beliefs of being a Separate Selfish Self, (which is the belief in Duality.) If we want to be free from the Egotistical Programmed Mind and know what we Truly are in The Divine, along with shifting into the 5th Dimension, we must deconstruct our dualistic beliefs.
Having been a Christian for 33 years and counseling Christians for about 19 years, I’ve come to realize that religion is the proliferation of duality. All Christians sub-consciously struggle to reconcile their beliefs in a loving God that also destroys people. Their ego however convinces them to ignore that internal struggle, because to open that box, would be to dismantle their whole belief system, which seems overwhelming and something that most Christians don’t have the faith or relationship with The Divine to do.
When my son came out as gay, I was already 2 years into my deconstruction with The Holy Spirit’s Guidance. Therefore there was a loving/trusting relationship already established, and I was able to go to The Divine and ask; “I know my son was born gay, but how do I reconcile that with the Bible?” The loving response was; “Go unconditionally love your son and then come back and ask that question!” After 6 months I returned with the same question and what I heard from The Divine was; “Who wrote in the Bible that Homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God?” I said; “Paul!” The Divine said; “Exactly!” It was in that moment I knew; not all of the Bible is the inspired word of God!” Which was a hard pill for me to swallow and an enormous paradigm shift, having been a Biblical Counselor and Teacher for so many years. Nevertheless it was exactly what I needed to hear for my deconstruction and path to freedom.
As Christians we are taught that when we struggle with something about the Bible, we are to say to ourself; “God’s ways are higher than my ways!” “I’m not God and I may never understand this!” “It’s dangerous to question God!” etc. However this could not be further from the truth, these are egotistical cop-outs that keep us trapped in duality.
It is not of The Divine to repress- ignore and excuse away things that are not; understood, seem confusing or contradictory, this is actually sub-consciously agreeing with the ego and it will keep us trapped in duality, along with not knowing our True Self and The Divine, while in this life.
It is very easy to not disrupt our reality, by turning a blind eye to things that bother us. This is what the Bible calls the broad road that leads to destruction, because we have sub-consciously chosen to stay a hostage to the ego rather than a host to The Divine.
Faith is actually the willingness and courage to go to Holy Spirit and question our beliefs, knowing that The Divine will lead us to truth. Then once we receive the truth that will set us free, it will require of us to make changes in our life. The first one being the swallowing of our pride, and living in the humility and acceptance that we were easily deceived and as a result deceived others.
I’ve come to realize as a Spiritual Teacher/Guide, that I can give everyone and anyone The Key of Awareness by teaching them, what they are as a Spiritual Being having a human experience, and that they have a two part ego; Fearful Victim/Angry Protector that they need to dismantle. When they live in this awareness their life gets a whole lot better.
However, until they are willing to really get honest with themselves, and no longer ignore the things that bother them about the Bible/Christianity and begin the deconstruction process (deep conversations with The Divine), they will remain trapped in a dualistic state of mind, never really at peace, because discontentment is a veil to our True Identity in The Divine!
