The enemy is very intentional and aggressive about trying to destroy your destiny. He’s working over time, to change the plans of an abundant life that God’s planned for you!
I never thought my life could be changed by attending a sweet 12 year old slumber party! It was the first time I would be introduced to a Ouija Board. This so called “toy” completely intrigued me, as you could ask it a any question and it would spell the answer out with incredible accuracy! I was told a spirit was working the board, little did I know it was a demon that would possess me and change the course of my life.
Being completely enamored with this board, I asked my parents to buy me one as a Christmas gift and of course, they not knowing what it was, bought it for me. It turned out that my board hosted a very unruly demon that would cuss and make the guide constantly fly off the board so I decided to destroy it, only cutting and burning it didn’t work, so I resolved to throwing it away! Regardless, the damage was done. The demon that possessed me at the party, began to propel the lies I was believing of being unloved, especially by men that led to a destructive life. I began doing what ever it took to feel loved, which in turn led later in my life to adultery and divorce. I sought counsel from secular and Christian counselors who all told me that I had multiple personalities, and that my family and I would just have to learn to live with them.
When my life was completely a mess, I began spiraling down into depression and not knowing I was demon possessed, I cried out to God, gave him my life, Jesus moved in and the demon had to move out. The good news is my husband and I reconciled even through all that craziness! Years later when I was reflecting upon the sinful desires that had left when I repented and wondering what that was, and where it went, God said, “it was a demon!”
Today as a Christian wellness coach, I’ve learned that every day we must be even more intentional than satan to detox, protect and heal our mind-body-spirit. We truly must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove!
I have a burning desire for people to take back their hijacked health God’s way. This is our life, our story, we get to decided how it is written don’t let satan and his demons write it for you by plaguing your mind with lies, doubts and fear!
